From a young age, sewing, drawing and painting has been a large part of my life. Throughout college and beyond I have explored various mediums including watercolor painting, mosaic and various quilting techniques. These activities were always my relaxation and creative expression while raising my children and working as a nurse practitioner. Stitched paintings has been a perfect blend of painting, sewing and mosaic. Low vision issues due to a genetic disease known as retinitis pigmentosa has forced my career to change direction. Thankfully, for now, my central vision is still good. With this I am greatful to be able to pursue  my art and passion on a full time basis.
